Starting Pay - $40-$45/hour

What You Will Do:

· Work a typical schedule of 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday with weekend hours as needed

· Service our Kenworth and Peterbuilt trucks along with forklifts. This work will not only be on the chassis side of the vehicles, but a considerable amount of time will be spent working on pumping systems, lift gates, etc. There may also be times when field repairs are required

· Perform preventative maintenance, monthly inspections

· Perform and analyze diagnostic tests to find faults in vehicles

· Repair or replace engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems;check vehicle lighting systems and test drive vehicles to gauge performance

· Work with vendors for preferred pricing and reduction of unit maintenance costs

· Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles

· Support and demonstrate company culture and values with coworkers and customers

· Always put safety first

What Talents We are Looking For:

· Advanced knowledge of diesel engine components

· Diesel Mechanic Certification

· Valid driver's license

· Highly organized and detail oriented

· Excellent verbal and written communication

· Team player and collaborator with a positive and constructive approach in all interactions

· Extraordinary work ethic and top notch customer service skills

· Seeking long term employment with a stable job history

Requirements:

Degree or Diploma in Automotive Engineering or similar field

· CDL A or B

· Knowledge of Hampel Oil’s business and customer base
